Children's Eye Doctors — Dedicated to Helping Kids See Clearly

Pediatric Eye Care: Why Is It Important?

  • Concerned that your child's eyesight may be hindering their development?
  • Does your child's eyes appear misaligned?

Studies show that up to 10% of young children have vision problems. However, kids generally aren't aware there's an issue, and don't complain about their eyes. It is therefore crucial to detect the first signs of vision problems before complications arise.

Give them the clear vision and healthy eyes they deserve by visiting our West Plano pediatric eye doctor at Trinity EyeCare.

4 Signs Your Child May Have a Vision Problem

  • Trouble seeing electronic screens

Your child sits very close, tilts their head or squints to better see TVs, computer screens and other electronic screens.

  • Difficulty reading or following moving objects

Your child often loses their place while reading, or can't track a ball as it moves when playing sports.

  • Headaches & eye strain

Your child complains of tired eyes or headaches after performing tasks that are visually intensive, such as reading or writing.

  • Missed milestones

Your child may miss milestones such as crawling and walking, or show signs of poor depth perception.

For your child to successfully engage in sports and achieve their academic potential, they need to have healthy eyes and clear vision. The experienced and caring children's eye doctors at Trinity EyeCare will carefully examine their eyes and provide guidance to ensure your child's healthy vision.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Trinity Eye Care. Dr. Peng is incredibly kind, knowled... geable, and truly skilled. My daughter had been wearing Ortho-K lenses for over a year at another office, but they were never able to fully correct the vision in one eye. After switching to Trinity Eye Care, her vision has improved significantly and is now almost fully corrected. Aileen is amazing. She is incredibly responsible, organized, and always goes above and beyond to help her patients. Kristina at the front desk is fantastic as well. She is friendly, caring, and always willing to help. The technicians are also kind, professional, and efficient. Everyone in the office works together seamlessly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. We highly recommend Trinity Eye Care to anyone looking for excellent eye care and outstanding customer service.

Dr. Pang is the best! Always fun to talk to and very knowledgeable. Back in the day, he was the only... ophthalmologist I could find in DFW who was willing to start my sons on a treatment plan I had heard of in Europe that stops myopia. Thanks to him the progression of their nearsightedness was stopped.
