Are my glasses already scratch-resistant?

Many lenses today made of polycarbonate materials already have scratch-resistant features built in. However, most lenses are made of a resin known as CR-39, which doesn’t automatically include any lens coatings, so if scratch-resistance is important to you, ask your optician to confirm you are purchasing the right lenses for your lifestyle.

Do anti-fog glasses actually work?

If you wear glasses you already understand the frustration of seeing your lenses fog up as soon as you step inside from the cold. Small water droplets fog up your lenses when the surrounding temperatures are warmer than the lenses. Anti-fog coatings help prevent lenses from becoming cloudy no matter the weather.

Is anti-scratch coating on glasses worth it?

Even the best lens treatment can’t 100% guarantee that your lenses will never be scratched. However, the higher the quality of the coating, the better the protection.

Do I need polarized coatings?

Polarized coatings are anti-reflective, so they reduce glare from the sun, snow, water and pavement. If you plan to use your glasses around water or snow, these lenses let you see objects in sharper detail and can make colors look more vivid.

I have a complicated case of vertical strabismus and was referred to Dr Pang. I have been completely... impressed with the entire process Dr Pang and his entire staff are very through with their exams. It takes extra time to examine and prescribe these kind of prism glasses and Dr Pang and the entire Trinity Eye Care Staff spend as much time as it takes to make sure you have the best result possible. I highly recommend Trinity eye care. You won’t be disappointed.

She is very attentive, has excellent explanations, and takes all of the time you need. Never felt rushed at all. The staff was very friendly and on time. Dr. Youngblood is an amazing doctor. If you need someone to discuss your eye health with and get the... right testing and assessments I recommend Trinity Eye Care. They are patient and very thorough. Caution to review rebate fine print if you decide to make a purchase here or anywhere else. Sometimes your items won't qualify and it's best to verify with the paperwork prior to purchase. Trinity Eye Care staff is friendly! Our family will continue to visit this office. 🙂

From the minutes I called to set up a new appointment, arrived, quickly was brought it to complete t... he evaluation , and get my glasses fit, was incredible. Dr Pang spent plenty of the time carefully evaluating my complex eye issues and explained the challenges in great detail. Everyone was friendly and very professional.
