Give Your Eyes the Care They Deserve

Eye Disease Management Includes:

  • Comprehensive eye exam

Comprehensive eye exams are critical in catching sight-robbing eye diseases that typically don’t show early symptoms.

  • Diagnostic screening

Certain changes in your eyes can indicate eye conditions. Our optometrists can diagnose the disease and determine the cause of these changes.

  • Treatments and surgeries

We provide a wide range of treatments, including prescription eye drops and other medication. If needed, we'll refer you to the right specialist for eye surgery.

  • After care and follow-up

We provide follow-up exams and after-care treatments to help you manage your symptoms and safeguard your vision.

What Are the 4 Most Common Eye Diseases?

  • Diabetic Retinopathy

If you have diabetes, you should be aware of the risk of diabetic retinopathy. Elevated blood sugar can cause blood vessels in the eye to become inflamed or swell. In the early stages, you may not notice symptoms, but advanced diabetic retinopathy can cause blurred vision or eye inflammation.

    Diabetic retinopathy treatment includes:

    • Prescription medication
    • Laser surgeries
    • Anti-VEGF and steroid injections
    • Vitrectomy
  • Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a leading cause of blindness and often doesn’t show early symptoms. High pressure inside the eye causes glaucoma, and the purpose of glaucoma management is to reduce intraocular pressure.

    Glaucoma treatments include:

    • Prescription eye drops or medications
    • Laser procedures
    • Filtration surgery
    • Drainage tubes
    • Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS)
  • Cataracts

Cataracts are cloudy formations on the eye lens. They can make your vision blurry and distorted. To restore normal vision, an optometrist will recommend cataract surgery, which involves replacing the cloudy lens with an artificial intraocular lens.

  • Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration, or AMD, occurs when the macula or the central part of the retina deteriorates. This results in blurred and distorted vision.

There are two types of AMD: Dry AMD and Wet AMD.

Although there isn’t a treatment for dry AMD, lifestyle changes and specific supplements can help prevent further vision deterioration.

    Wet AMD treatments include:

    • Photodynamic therapy
    • Anti-VEGF injections
    • Laser photocoagulation

Been coming here for 3 years and will probably keep on coming until Dr. Pang retires. Everyone is in... credibly personable and remembers details about you even if you only come once a year for your annual check up. Before, I was dealing with undiagnosed vertical heterophoria and couldn’t figure out why I was having constant eye strain and migraines. Dr. Pang and his staff were able to take me in and diagnose me quickly. My migraines have improved significantly since. So glad I found Trinity Eye Care. Special shoutout to Aileen, Dr. Pang’s wife, for having the best taste in eyeglasses and making choosing one a breeze. And another shoutout to Kristina, at the front desk, for making sure the clinic and everything runs smoothly.

I was very skeptical at first. I stumbled on the Trinity website during a google search and my sympt... oms matched up with this thing called binocular vision dysfunction. I really did not believe it was a real thing but I went to make an appointment anyway since I could barely function. Right away the staff showed empathy for my situation. The doctor listened to my whole story and took in every word. This is a lost art at most medical practices now. I have had some bad experiences but I was pleasantly surprised when I came here. I was prescribed special prism lenses and again I was skeptical. When they came in they helped a little right away and more and more as the weeks went by. Next thing I know I was driving on my own again. Now I am in vision/physical therapy for my condition. I have made even more progress doing this. Again most places will meet with you for a very brief period and shoe you out the door. Here I have up to two or three people working with me at times. This place truly does care and they are passionate about helping. I have been so disappointed in some of my experiences with doctors the last few years. These folks at Trinity are different. They care about people and legitimately want you to improve. This is how the medical field should be functioning. These guys are the example of how it should be. I have improved so much working with them and I am still improving! I literally got my life back!
