About Dr. Pang
Dr. Pang was born in Hong Kong and after high school, he moved to the United States for his college and optometry studies. He was called to lessen people's pain and discomfort, he feels blessed to find optometry as his career because it enables him to do exactly what he was called for.
He feels that the biggest failure in healthcare today is the lack of communication between doctors and patients. He personally experienced this by receiving an informational CD from his primary care doctor because he was too busy to sit down and explain the condition to him. After that experience, he committed to be available to his patients and dedicated to communicating effectively to his patients. Dr. Pang specializes in Children's Myopia control, adult specialty contact lenses, and neuro visual medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry, a Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
