About Dr. Pang

Dr. Pang was born in Hong Kong and after high school, he moved to the United States for his college and optometry studies. He was called to lessen people's pain and discomfort, he feels blessed to find optometry as his career because it enables him to do exactly what he was called for.

He feels that the biggest failure in healthcare today is the lack of communication between doctors and patients. He personally experienced this by receiving an informational CD from his primary care doctor because he was too busy to sit down and explain the condition to him. After that experience, he committed to be available to his patients and dedicated to communicating effectively to his patients. Dr. Pang specializes in Children's Myopia control, adult specialty contact lenses, and neuro visual medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry, a Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

About Dr. Chuong

Dr. Chuong was born in Malaysia and raised in Katy, Texas. She was the youngest of three girls in the family. Her parents had high goals for all their girls; however, after her high school graduation, she did not have a clear calling about her future. During her time at UT Austin, she joined the Pre-Optometry Professional Society, and she appreciated the supportive and encouraging community of the group and decided to pursue optometry as her career.

She especially appreciates the fact that she can utilize her knowledge to help others, and through it, she could improve people's quality of life. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she graduates Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry with her Doctorate of Optometry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chuong likes exploring local restaurants, baking, and spending time with her family. When the weather is nice, she enjoys hiking and playing tennis. Since she recently moved to the Dallas-Fort-Worth area, she is on the lookout for good restaurants and attractions to visit.
